Notorious for their brutality, the Zetas are now the most powerful drug cartel in Mexico. Reuters senior correspondent Ioan Grillo says Mexican authorities now fear the Zetas' model of organized crime may become the new norm. (May 23, 2012)

Not if citizens arm themselves. The problem can be solved by two steps. Legalizing drugs so they stop profiting and making money. This will weaken them but it won't make them go away. Now as they weaken, the police can take them on much more efficiently. The military would wipe them out completely. And if citizens arm themselves, they'll be taking fire from every direction. They'll be wiped out because there are more good people than bad people. Of course this will never happen though.

The Mexican drug cartels get their guns from the United States. Look up "fast and furious" not the movie. This recently happened and they admitted to it. Mexico is the way it is cause of the United States. Thats why we let the immigrants come work here for next to nothing.
