Umbilical Brothers - Breakdown

The Umbilical Brothers perform "Breakdown" on Artistgalla on Norwegian Television Sept. 2007. Norwegian Charity Show.

The show was to raise money for the Norwegian People's Aid. They do all kinds of work from sanitation to mine sweeping and rescue work. Basically wherever there's a country in need there are at least a couple of representatives from NPA working on everything from discrimination to poverty and aids and etc.

The ads in the show were urging people to join Norwegian People's Aid and donate 200NOK (25 EUR) a month to causes including mine and bomb work. One of the things they stressed was a key issue, was that they don't only do the work themselves - they teach the local people how to do it too, and issue equipment and etc. so that the knowledge can be passed on. The 'teach a man to fish' ideology.
