@carl13220 That's a very good point. Most prog bands go back to Dream Theater, Dream theater goes back to Pink Floyd, and so on, and so on...

@CuriousComposer That's true. But i'd say that in every music genre ( and that includes prog metal ) you can found similarities : melodies, chord progressions, instruments, inspirations...and even the cover art !
