  • This is one of my favourite theater. Each time I travel to Paris I watch a movie here.

Image and sound quality is the best I have ever experienced.

  • Voila ! -Real projectors - Still not coming better today, more than 50 years after...

I would have loved to have that nice lamphouse model on mine, too. My lamps (also Kinotons) are all square in the back end.

    We all miss 70mm.

Todd-AO is THE REEL thing !!

And yes: Presentation - meaning that the projectionist has time to do his job, ínstead of running around between lots of screens and booths, needing a computer to run the show - Yak !

    Thanks for sharing this !!

  • The THX crossover system looked different from the THX 3417 that was used at the Empire in the past and the last time I saw a THX crossover system was at the VUE at Cheshire oaks 2004.

  • Wow Fred, I like it when you say THX! THX is the word for fine presentation, not a word of English, just say THX a few times I'll bet they'll understand THX, THX is a universal word. Fred clam down DP70, they won an Oscar for best technical award many decades ago. I like the curve in that screen, kinder like the Empire.
