The closest thing to Aim is ICQ,which in a lot of ways is similar to Aim. And you can sign into ICQ with your Aim account. But ICQ only supports Aim and ICQ accounts and does not work as well as Aim. And there are a lot of adverts on ICQ but on Aim there is not. So it is better to stick with Aim as it works better. Andrea.
