I am quite possibly the biggest Four Season fan of all time but this rendition of Rag Doll is absolutely chilling. There's something very raw that captures the desperation of this song. Del Shannon's feelings were always on the surface of his recordings. It was the source of his greatness and may have been the cause of his death. Rest in peace my friend. Your music brought me great joy.

Is it just me or is there something so plantive in del Shannon's voice? Sure Frankie had a geat voice but there is somehting absolutely heart wrenching that put the del Shannon imprint on all his songs. Just listen to Runaway. Nobody but nobody sings the song like him.
