Hunters love to take life away. There's no reason to hunt, since we have grocery stores. Hunters actually get proud when they kill innocent animals. Pride is the Devil's specialty, along with hate. Then there's the fact that they have the advantage of a gun. Hunters that kill for sport are consumed by lust for blood and death.

@youtoob2006: I wrote a long-winded reply before hitting 500 character limit, so, in summary: I am often out with hunters, but haven't carried a gun in 15 years. A fair amount of the revenue from guns and ammo and all from licenses go back into wildlife management (management that re-introduced the very turkeys we were hunting). In Africa (for example) entire economies are based on hunting, providing both means and motivation to protect animals from poachers. In short: Hunting saves animals.

Fair enough. I think it's quite obvious we weren't taking ourselves too serious that day. Like I said: Good Time. I also agree that making drives in full camo isn't the smartest thing, but I trust these guys (and, believe it or not, it has actually worked).

I've seen countless hours of standard turkey hunting videos. I apologize if on this particular occasion we violated some sort of sacred turkey hunting tradition because we wanted to show a couple of guys from the city a good time. Joe and Tom have hunted just about every game animal on several continents, and have come away with some serious trophies. I guess after that it's hard to take turkeys in your own backyard too serious.

Yup. Makes it harder for hunters to get permission for land use when others don't bother. Also as turkey hunting is statistically the most dangerous of the shooting sports most turkey hunters don't drive.

If we didn't control the predators they would soon get out of control. There are some spots I know that are so bad with coyotes because of no hunting or lack of hunting it is insane.
