@LilacCotton and the international community would be forced to recognize their demands. Israel can handle a few weekly protests with a couple of hundered supporters. But if people leave everything behind to walk together with white flags of peace at the border of irsrael and there is significant media coverage, the world CANNOT ignore their situation any longer. the billions in dollars of aid should be used for political change. reconstruction can come after!

@LilacCotton first of all, they are all Palestinians and to insult fatah is to further acknowledge there is disunity which will only cause more problems. Second, the people in the west bank have more international recognition than hamas because they are not fighting militarily but politically. Non violent resistance is the only way to go. Imagine if they held a unified rally with hundreds of thousands of people at the egpytian and israeli border with a white flag. It would be a media explosion
