@milkthecow11 1) just because pros aren't riding discs doesn't make them a gimmick. 2) they were only legalized for CX last year. Bike companies work approximately 2 years in advance of a model year. You will start seeing a ton more discs in CX next year. Their adaptation for the road will take longer but is inevitable.

at this stage in the game, hydraulic rim brakes just seems pointless. The focus should be on discs.

so would you be able to use the lever for some disc's eventually or do they only work with your rim brakes?
