Me trying to play a sungura (also known as museve) groove. Sungura is the ubiquitous pop sound of Zimbabwe, a genre that evolved from the blending of Congolese rumba, Kenyan benga, and South African mbaqanga with local jiti and mbira traditions. Search youtube for Leonard Dembo, John Chibadura, System Tazvida and Alick Macheso for the real thing. It should be played on electric guitar but since I don't own one, I have to "make a plan" as they say in Zim.
