@AdelaideUnitedFC2011 they would have stayed up because they would have had 34 points but their goal difference would have been -20 compared West Brom's goal difference of -25 and this wasn't the last time they would blow a lead late in the game Middlesbrough conceded a late goal and against Aston Villa 2-0 up lost the game 3-2
