@PureJockPureBrit It's an interesting approach for sure and, to be fair, I prefer this to the old gather in a tight circle with a bloke shouting and screaming - that really does fuck all for me I must say. *Squeeeeze!!!". Bollocks.

@vonteflon Telfer once said that his strategy is to bring a player down emotionally and then build him back up to ten times his original strength. It isn't the typical motivational speech with high voices and shouting that people are used to, which is what makes Telfer unique. Consider how dedicated, focused and sincere the players must have been after this speech. The mood after this speech is one that will not and cannot accept defeat.

I don't know, these big motivational team-talks never really get me going. THis is rated as one of the best ever, but I find I feel a bit depressed watching it, especially when Telfer trails off at the end "biggest game of your fucking life".... Sounds like he's about to top himself.
