@fightingtemeraire another with the b777 landing at heathrow with no nose hear

if im going to die, id rather choose dying on a plane crash. atleast your not alone

The whole British aviation industry is relatively safe. On this programme (air crash investigation) which i have seen hundreds of times only three have shown british planes. One was the premature landing at heathrow (non casualties) the other was when a pilot got sucked out the cockpit window (no casualties) and the other was when a plane caught fire whilst taxiing where sadly roughly half the passengers died.

@fightingtemeraire '.. British airways only has one fatal accident ..'
Of course, with only 233 aircraft and 169 destinations, BA is also a very tiny airline. With a combined total of 2396 aircraft and 1126 destinations, each of only the top five airlines in the USA (American, Delta, Continental, US, & United) are a great deal larger. It's not surprising that a small airline, with few aircraft and few destinations, would have less incidents than other much larger airlines.

@Ajc52 im not british but yea ur right
-
@fightingtemeraire it wasnt the ATC it was the skyguide's fault. people who blamed that controller are stupid and need to learn their facts. not saying u or anything but just saying it wasnt ATC fault.
-
@thrawn80 Yep. I hate the Adam Air. It's not the plane fault.
British airways only has one fatal accident, a mid air collision caused by poor ATC.

I'm not saying that because i'm from the UK. When you look at BA history. It's very good.
