@JTeamjesters If I remember correctly, Dumbledore came across as something of a jerk in most of his scenes in the OotP books as well, so that's probably more due to canon than the actor ;)
(though I admit, I haven't seen the movies).
The transformation of Dumbledore's perceived character can probably be a bit blamed on Harry growing up from wide-eyed and gullible to moody teenager.
