That's with the High Pass off? How about with High Pass on? That thing is very woofy, it sounds almost like there's a Low Pass on boosting the low end to make it so muddy.

thanks for this test. I have just entered the confusing world of sound with the 5d and this test is helpful. Everything i assume was plugged directly into the camera.

The rode sounds a little muffled, the levels on the wireless were a little hot causing slight distortion, but still the best at 20ft, just my opinion,,, nice video, good sdf, which lens

For the wireless lav, are you just going straight into the Mark II's stereo mini jack or are you running it through a breakout box?
