@transformerstributer Acualy it has a few new characters and old characters with new bodies. So shut up and don't post anything false. It is like season 5 of g1. Old episodes with new segments and a few new characters.

G2 is alright I guess. I only like it because of the new characters from the toyline.

As blasphemous as the gimmicks were, G2 at least exposed the early 90's kids to the original series.

all it is is g1 episodes with a new crappy g2 intro. g2 isnt a series more or less a new colour design for the g1 toys.

Why do they call it G2 when all they do this reshow G1 show but all they do is change the start?

Honestly, I couldn't tell you.
Since the G2 toyline was somewhat, but not really, similar to the G1 toyline but with different molds and brighter colors, I guess they went in the same direction with the cartoon and didn't bother to make a new series.
