Finally got Monty to accept a frozen mouse! Didn't get the actual strike because I wasn't sure if he would take it so I didn't want to film it. Sorry it is a little dark, I tried to brighten it up as much as I could.
The photo at the end is when he was just about finished, sorry it's a little blurry...it was dark and he was moving.

Enjoy! =)

  • a simple trick is to after the mouse is defrosted really good is to take a hair dryer and warm the head of the mouse up really good for about 30-40 seconds, usually generates more heat for them to pick up and usually cause them to strike! glad you got him to eat frozen! beautiful snake!

  • Thanks! Yeah, ever since I've gotten him to eat frozen, he hasn't had a problem. He is very quick to strike as soon as I offer it to him- which I am very pleased about! =)
