  • The mainstream presidential candidates are probably less motivated by money than by power. I think their main aspiration is to consolidate as much power as they can (legally usually). If they get money along the way, expensive banquets, private jets, etc, so much the better. But if money was their sole motivation, they'd probably be in some other sector, like business.

    Pretty nice video, though. Yay for Gravel: he's one of the few that aren't primarily motivated by power OR money.

  • Well thank you - Its actually my very first video ever. I even had to download the video editor :)

    In any case - I think you may be right there - however, money will always be a critical factor of power in a capitalistic culture - and... regardless... its way harder to depict "Power" in a still frame. :)

  • The candidates are motivated by power, but the people who finance them are motivated by profits.

  • Agreed. There's some truth to "money is power". Though they're different concepts, they usually go hand in hand.
