Hey, this is just a fantastic recording: listen to the orchestra, and Kozena is great. I have been playing this aria about 50 times in the opera on the bassetthorn solopart, I would just love to play it with her!

She almost does not have the G3 (6:21) it sounds too roary and without clarity.

Of course it is like 100 times better than the G3s of the usual recordings of this aria (which for some strange reason Coloraturas Stupidi always sing to show to us -lol- that they (dont) have a low G3 (Sutherland, Damrau etc) only to make fool of themselves)

This aria is the opposite of Popoli di Tesaglia (displays a low G3 in the female voice while Popoli displays a high G6 in the female voice)

I definitely prefer Kozena over Kasarova whose timbre I simply dislike.

As for looks, Kozena puts the H in hottie!

ya, I know. It's like a completely different voice. She reminds me of another Kasarova, in looks and voice. I still like VK better, though. THat was just a great low A and G at 6:16. She jumped right back to her regular voice the next note!
