Kriya Yoga is not a religion. It is the science of the soul. The technique is composed of spinal breathing, magnetic oxidation which causes the electrical flow of prana to reverse itself into the river of the spinal cord and regain its divine essence. Kriya yoga utilizes positive light energy growth for spiritual evolution of consciousness.

Yogiraj is a living master and solar seer, and helps sincere practitioners of yogic meditation awaken to higher levels of consciousness through chakra awakening/activation and esoteric practices of Himalayan yoga.

Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath was born on May 10, 1944 in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India. He has been meditating since the age of 3, and spent his early years in the Himalayas amongst the HamsaNath yogis, in whose presence he was transformed. The divine transformation flowered after his deep and personal experiences in 1961 and 1967 with the yogi-christ Mahavatar Shiv-Goraksha-Babaji, the same spiritual master described in Yogananda's Autobiography of a Yogi. He has a wife of 30+ years, Gurumata Shivangani, with whom he built by hand the Hamsa Yoga Sangh Ashram (Spiritual Retreat) outside the city of Pune, near Bombay, India. They have two sons, and two grandchildren.

Yogiraj teaches yogic meditation for the evolution of human consciousness. These perennial practices of yoga are the most ancient closely guarded sacred practices of the Himalayan yogis and masters from time immemorial. They help the practitioner gradually transform him/herself into the likeness of his/her own divinity.

This ancient art and science has been a way of life for rare yogis and ascetics of India and abroad who have sacrificed everything in the search for their own inner Truth, their inner Godessence. Today, Yogiraj demonstrates in his own life and livingness, that powerful spiritual practice can be integrated with family life and a career. By the blessings of Babaji, Yogiraj teaches these techniques, which he collectively calls "The Alchemy of Total Transformation" to sincere seekers throughout the world, who wish to integrate these practices into their daily life, without the necessity of giving up worldly pursuits.

These techniques are called:
1. Mahavatar Babaji's Kriya Yoga (N.B., the exact same kundalini kriya originally given to Lahiri Mahasaya in the 19th century)
2. Siddhanath Surya Yoga - A dynamic osmosis of solar healing. Pranic self-healing with solar power.
3. Siddhanath Hamsa Yoga - The Way of the White Swan.

If earth peace is to herald the dawn of the new age, let us all realize that:

Humanity is one's only religion,
Breath one's only prayer, and
Consciousness one's only God.

  • Hello HamsaYoga. If it takes so long for enlightenment, is it possible for someone of young age to reach it? If time is suppose to be running out, say next year is truly the end, can I make it?

  • @Dylen2006 Relax, time is not running out and 2012 is only the change in the Manu cycle. You have time to transform yourself back into your true divine nature. There is a retreat coming up in Sept/Oct if you're interested in meeting and getting empowered into Kriya Yog by a living Master: hamsa-yoga(dot)org/retreats

  • @wernertrptube He has no stylist or dresser. He just lets it flow. And yes, if there is an icon that registers or resonates in the collective psyche of humankind, then He is indeed the archetype for God the Father. Look at the Sistine ceiling by Michelangelo and you'll see Him there in the Creation of Adam.

  • Good start. The sages who found truth and these techniques actually started with these questions.

  • He is such a Great Master. If he acknowledges only Hinduism, he is creating an image, a one died image. Then others may not want to learn from him. He is using Hinduism and portraying as a Universal teaching, non religious.

  • @asswaxer100 He mentions it all the time in talks and at satsanghs. I just read an article or interview with Him in Vision magazine where He cites Sanatana Dharma as Hinduism. There is no rejection in what's been referred to here; namely that no religion or ism represents God or the Truth. Gurunath stresses that Kriya Yog is a science and not a religion. However all major religions have contributed to the quest for Truth. But in the end, Truth is beyond any belief system or dogma.

  • @HamsaYogi Yeah, I agree with most of what you're saying. But vedic literature includes the vedas and also the upanishads, at the very least. I'm gonna say that I hope guru ji mentions Sanatana Dharma at least some of the time-- not for any fame, but to make sure it's not forgotten how it all started--by the lord, and still being carried through humanity.

  • @asswaxer100 Sanatana Dharma is that which is created and spread by the Lord. Sanatana Dharma has not been created by an individual. Although it is claimed by Hinduism, it predates it. The general assumption is that the Vedic hymns were either taught by God to the sages or that they were revealed, themselves, to the sages who were the seers or “mantradrasta” of the hymns, without name, claim or fame.

  • @HamsaYogi Thanks for resoponding. I would agree that organized religion comes as an effect. But I think that sanatana dharm, in this case, is the source. And Shiva was first known to the common people by the scriptures.

  • @asswaxer100 Gurunath always credits India for being the ancient seat of Yog. But ShivGoraksha Babaji is the source of the alchemical technique of Kundalini Kriya Yog and not Hinduism or any other ism. Religions are the after effects and never the Source. So Gurunath gives credit where credit is due: to the Divine incarnation of Shiva Himself, Mahavatar ShivGoraksha Babaji.

  • I LOve this guy! But there's just 1 thing: why is he not acknowledging Hinduism here? The Siddhas were Hindu, and we owe it to them for the benefit of yoga.

  • @u352018 magicians are like yogis. check out Franz Bardon's book
