THIS is why we need unions!!!!!

This is a glimpse into the future if the fat cats and union busters get what they want. People in this country have fought and died for basic rights such as the eight hour day and a minimum wage that the average person can barely scrape by on. Working people are not machines. They are human beings who's thoughts and feelings and well being are more important than a raise in productivity. Kill the unions and be ready to welcome the sweat-shop horrors of the South and East. WE ARE NOT TOOLS FOR ECONOMIC PROGRESS!!!!

This video is an excerpt from the 1936 film "Modern Times" starring Charlie Chaplin. The music was recorded as part of a project initiated in January to score the entire movie. It is scheduled to be presented as part of the 2011 Chicago Anarchist Film Festival in May. The musicians are mostly members of the radical marching band, Flying Skeletons.

Private unions once did a good thing. What have you done for us lately? The past 4 decades, you took membership dues and gave it to the political party of your choice. Public Unions, never should have been.

America no longer needs unions. Unions have chased jobs offshore. America has laws in place that make unions antiquated.
