The Top Ten Moves of Naomichi Marufuji

Naomichi Marufuji is one of Pro Wrestling NOAH's most popular competitors, and one of the future aces of the company. Marufuji got his instruction in the All Japan Pro Wrestling dojo, but not long after graduation, he followed many of his comrades to Pro Wrestling NOAH. There, the Jr. Heavyweight scene was given more time to flourish, and that allowed Marufuji to become one of the biggest stars of the promotion, winning the GHC Jr. Heavyweight Title in late 2001, though he would be forced to surrender it due to injury. However, not to be deterred, he returned, and formed an alliance with KENTA, and the two dominated the tag team scene, holding the GHC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Titles for nearly two years. Marufuji then held the GHC Tag Team Titles alongside freelancer Minoru Suzuki. 2006 would bring his greatest accomplishment, when he dethroned Jun Akiyama to become the GHC Heavyweight Champion, thus holding every major title that Pro Wrestling NOAH had to offer. Though his reign was short, it gave Marufuji more experience, and allowed him to prosper into even a greater wrestler. Since then, he's held the AJPW World Jr. Heavyweight Title as well. Marufuji is the innovator of the Shiranui, and he possesses many variations of it from all over the ring. When they fail(even the Shiranui Kai), the Pole Shift is there to destroy his opponents.

Yes he is. He recently wrestled in AJPW and is still wrestling in NOAH.
