Take a behind-the-scenes tour through the fossil prep lab with Dr. Ron Tykoski as he introduces us to his team. Watch as they prepare fossils from around the world for exhibits in the Museum of Nature & Science in Dallas, Texas. One project includes prepping fossils of the Alamosaurus, a dinosaur that lived over 70 million years ago and was found in Big Bend, Texas. Some Alaskan dinosaur dwellers, as featured on NOVA, are also revealed in this short video clip.

  • Do you guys take internships? I'm 16 and would like to be a Paleontologist in the future.

  • @monkeysbananna That's great that you're interested in such an exciting field of study! We don't have an internship program at this time. Volunteers in the Paleo Lab must be 18 years of age or older, so check back with us in a couple of years. Thanks for your interest!

  • @MNSDallas Ya, I saw when I checked the website after commenting on the video. :(

I'll be sure to volunteer next year when I'm done with school. Thanks for replying though. Just reading your response rose my hope.
