Sound recordings of rehearsals by the Lunapark ensemble (NL) form the source material for this composition. However, visual material has been recorded together with the sound. All editing decisions have been primarily made from a musical point of view. The images you see are the direct consequence of musical decisions.
The term multiverse refers to the idea or concept that beside the universe we see there are many more (an infinite number, according to some) universes, which are called parallel universes (source: Wikipedia)
Ordinarily one would see only the execution of a concert. However, each performance is preceded by an elaborate procedure that usually remains invisible to the public eye, but which may be just as interesting in and of itself. The music/sounds that the audience does not hear form a kind of invisible/inaudible parallel worlds around the single visible reality of the concert. The artists have tried to render this alternative reality visible and audible in the form of a new composition.
