@mr4963 Thanks for your quick reply, I will have a go and fit the system on my Hit and Miss engine, your engine runs and starts good with such a simple system.
-
@cffellows can you give me detailed instruction on how to build this engine because i cant think of any ideas
-
@Skoda130 - Yes, originally, although I made some improvements in his design. There are numerous other examples of the vapor carburetors used on model engines from the earlier 1900's.
-
@cffellows Did you find the idea for the carburettor at "HEETGAS"? :-)
-
The points & condenser were purchased already made.
-
@nitrorcman108 agreed
-
@cffellows you made the points and condencer setup?
-
@nitrorcman108 haha wats up lol.....i was scrolling and found you haha thats funny
Is there a needle valve at the intake manifold, or does the vapour enter the intake manifold at the bore of the fuel line ?

@mr4963 There's no needle valve anywhere. There is simply a hole into the side of the manifold with a threaded collar that can be screwed or unscrewed to cover more or less of the hole. The fuel is already vaporized in the jar.
