Casio CZ-1000 Oberheim Van Halen Patch

This is just a tutorial of how to make a Casio Cz 1000 sound like the infamous Oberheim patch used by Eddie van Halen on the song Jump.
Sorry if it doesn't look all pro but I had to made it on the run while my newborn son took a nap...LOL

These keyboards are going for less than a hundred bucks sometimes on ebay.If you get the cz 5000 or the 3000 you can layer this patch and make it more realistic and powerful.

When I was young casio synths were the real people affordable synthesizer...

@sakuraiben The CZ1000 is just a 101 with fullsize keys and membrane switches instead of buttons. Otherwise they're exactly the same inside and use the same sound engine.

Excellent work!

I've owned many of these...sold them all. The time and tedious nature of programming, just didn't do it for me.

I prefer dedicated knobs/sliders.

@kaluwaku666 Not to mention the 5000 has a pretty decent sequencer on it. Instead of putting out the CZ-1, they should have given the 5000 velocity and pressure sensitivity, kept the sequencer and called it the 5000 Mk II or something.
