@NewSchoolCrap It's the scope and the man. Not the rifle.
The russian PU scope is easier to adjust. The German scope required tools. (if you were thinking about snipers)

Every time you use it please remember YOU are allowed to enjoy our weapons.
For us germans it's impossible without expensive bureaucracy, intense checks by authorities and a certificate of demand (i.e. being in a recognized association and shooting regularly x times a year) plus a check of knowledge how to handle firearms.
Sigh...
Don't let them take your rights straight away. For us it's too late.

is the second range you are at called a place to shoot? off the 14 in socal? i thought that targert was 417 yards? oh well good job with my enfield standing off had i can hit it 50% of the time good job!! though

Yup! Same place! And from the far left bench (where I usually shoot) it measures 420 yards.
