Now we put right and left hand parts together, combining our previous work with measure 41. If you've stuck with the lessons this far, then congratulations! You have just worked through the most difficult portion of the piece! There are still some challenges coming up, but this portion is quite a bear and a major accomplishment to get through.

You can find all of the "Clair de lune from Scratch" lessons at http://pianofromscratch.com. The sheet music is available in MusicReader format at http://www.pianofromscratch.com/library/sheet-music/ , and you can download a free demo version of MusicReader at http://www.pianofromscratch.com/library/software/

MusicReader is a program that gives you the ability to annotate your score with digital ink, just like I do on these lesson videos. For more information about MusicReader, please visit http://airturn.com/musicreader/musicreader

  • @justinming90 Thanks for the encouragement - I've been swamped with concerts lately, but I'll try to get back to filming the rest of these lesson videos as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience in the meantime!

  • Anyone get the feeling that the last words of the lesson were kind of a farewell? It seemed like he was saying, "You can do it now! We're through the think of it, we've done a lot, now show me if you can do the rest on your own!"

Well, I'm going to do just that. Thanks for the 62 lessons that helped me get a HUGE start on this piece. I'll take the last 2 pages from here.

  • Hugh - thank you for all of this. The fact that you were determined enough to keep these lessons going and going in such depth played a part in helping to keep me a non-piano player musician determined to keep practicing and keep going too. My first reaction when I couldn't find the next lesson was "i hope he's ok!". Thanks again.

  • Mr Hugh Sung!

Thank you!! Your lessons have been an embodiment of elegance; making the complicated seem simple. Your teaching has not only been helpful, but full of patience and fun!

I've been playing the piano for quite while, yet never had I dreamed of mastering a classical master peace like this. I'd never bothered to learn to read music, as my ears would always help me out.

You've inspired me to train both and cause of that I've grown as a musician.

Keep up the good work my friend!

  • @joshxxt I don't even see non-free lessons except for the first 27 measure DVD

  • Is there a lesson #63 or for once will I not see Hugh at the next lesson :'( 6:37

  • It's not like he's gone... or the lessons have stopped. the FREE lessons have stopped. You can purchase the rest on his website.

  • no more? :(

  • thanx so much for posting these. So i guess this is the last one guess I gotta try to finish it on my own

  • Can't say I'm blaming you for not posting more tuorials - so far we're at lesson 62 and that's a lot of videos! I doubt I would've come this far without your help, but now that I'm here I feel like I can continue on my own and hopefully complete it before long. I hope you'll pick it back up though as it's very easy to overlook important details! Thanks a million for the lessons!
