@shadow1dx Why did they get a ring in '91 then? They handled a declining Magic. In his prime, Magic was the greatest point man of all time, and Showtime was one of the greatest eras of basketball. I disagree that Jordan and Pippen would have gotten destroyed ('96 Bulls could have played with anyone, past or present), but it would have been a FANTASTIC matchup.
@sportsfanmann chill man. i dont think nobody is trying to lesser the game of Magic here. I think it was just an amazing matchup. Pippen did a great job on him, but you can see how much work it took ! The two sides are winner in this video, especially now that its part of history.
Magic Johnson and Scottie Pippen were amazing players. Truly different, both amazing.
there are 5 players and 5 players making a total of 10 players, on a basketball court at any time during a game.
@ starks9970 mj overall dominant play would have canceled out had Phil not made that switch cuz magic would have averaged 30+pts a game with the small weaker mj on him plus mj would have been in foul trouble every game which would have affected his offense Phil made that switch cuz pippen was bigger, stronger and would have a better shot of defending magic post game
@shadow1dx Yeah...anyone who actually saw Magic at his peak knows he had lost a step or two by '91. His smarts got the Lakers back to the Finals, but he couldn't dominate the fast break as well.
SMH@asherak182 "Bulls won by 20pts in game 2 against a healthy Worthy"
Yeah Worthy was so "healthy" in that series he just took game 5 off because he felt like it huh? He suffered a high ankle sprain in the Portland WCF series. Not that it'd have made a difference in the overall picture, but dude wasn't 100%.
basically this video is saying that Jordan couldn't guard magic

agreed. jordan and the bulls were awesome, but if they played a prime lakers team it would have been a much closer series.

Nope MJs overall dominant play combined with pippen won the title. Michael averaged: 31.2 PPG, .558 fg%, 6.6 RPG, 11.4 APG, 2.8 SPG, 1.4 BPG.

I agree with the last sentence though.
