Only Craig could host a show like this. None of the other talk show hosts (much less LATE NIGHT hosts) have the sincerity, passion, intrigue, fascination, and capability to have such a brilliant conversation with someone. His interview with Desmond Tutu is another perfect example. Thanks Mal for blessing all of us, via Youtube, with this.

@tunecchiii Jon Stewart has his moments, but his ouevre is satire and political humour. As such, his material, however brilliant I think it is, is always tinged with slight cynicism and relies on belittling an opponent, even though that opponent deserves it. We have a similar bloke in the UK - Charlie Brooker. Craig's approach is more human somehow - it's purer, more honest, more innocent and more enlightening. You feel like you've grown as a human listening to this interview.

Cornel is such a badass for not watering down his subject matter just because he's on network TV. Before clicking on the first part I was really afraid he'd bullshit around and not bring his A-game. He brought it, though. Awesome for Craig to have him as well.

Pretentious? Funny, I thought that this interview was actually was very honest and done in a very tasteful fashion. I found Craig to be genuinely curious and interested in the subject. I thought that this interview was very true and straight forward without being in anyway insulting to anyone or sugarcoated.

On pt1 i commented while i was watching part 2 RIGHT before Craig got to say his peace. TOTALLY agree with Craig. And finally I saw a part of Cornel I could understand. YAY!!! (To understand this post you would have to read my posts from part one) But I STILL say the dude is too intense for this chick lol!!
