The most saddest and intense song EVER! I love it. I love how the stage version focuses more on the Beast's plight, becuase it is really sad.

My theatre group had our launch for our production of Beauty and the Beast the other evening in a local hotel and our Beast sang this song and every time he said "Love" he looked over to our Belle and started smiling.. We all started giggling but after we found out he was actually looking at our director who was behind Belle and she was mouthing the words to him :P

His range is incredible. The first time I heard this I was so shocked thinking he was purely a bass and then he shot off in to the sky with the ending notes. Beautiful song, beautiful vocals, beautiful show.

I recently performed as the Beast in my high schools production of this show. There is no feeling like this song. Its so evocative, and the music alone makes me feel the agony of my character. The final night it moved me to the point where I was actually crying while singing this song. I have never experienced anything like this.

I was beast in my high school musical. This was by far my favorite song to sing right before intermission. Really got me excited after that last part hearing the crowd clap.
