If the video's claim of the first beast being the papacy is "unmistakably clear", as you say, how come no other reputable Bible scholar agrees with you? For example, he describes the "city" of Jerusalem as "Egypt" in Revelation 11:8. The Whore of Babylon symbolizes Britain and America. Wake up! America WILL be burned with fire in one hour. Do you honestly believe that if the Vatican were burned with fire in one hour all the merchants of the world would "weep and mourn"?

@EastEndWatcher The scarlet coloured beast in Rev 17 is a city...Rev 17:18 The woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth. Satan is not a city. Rev 17:9 tells us the seven heads on this beast are 7 mountains on which the woman sitteth. This points directly at the city of Rome which has always been called the city of 7 hills. The 10 kings signify the 10 kingdoms Rome during its' empire reign.
