See how buddhism works in Sri Lanka. It is not one off thing. This is the 60 years history of development. This is how Sri Lanka was ruled and promoted by Sinhala Buddhist Nationalism. Either a group or at the state level, this is terrorism.

  • Our Lord God Jesus Christ will protect the christians of Sri Lanka

  • @bornbranded29 As long as no fundamentalism happens, Christians are all right. Fuck the muslims. They must piss off.

  • @rweerakkody4565 How do you know that people did not simply want to attend church, after being given charity? There is a difference? And what's wrong with attending church? I attend Hindu temples, every once in a while. I believe in Christ, so I share his message; and I don't do that to harm; on the contrary, I believe Christ can help us find peace and love. My main issue is with generalizations and comparing Christianity to Islam. Let's stay positive, brother. Peace.

  • @bornbranded29 As long as there is no fundamentalism. Christian fundamentalism - bribing the 2004 tsunami victims to attend Church in exchange for a sewing machine or tricycle. Turn the other cheek - the teachings are one thing, the followers are another.

And btw I know better than the trinity. Seems the sacrament of marriage is more of rubbish these days.

  • @rweerakkody4565 You only mention the trinity, which is the Christian concept of the identity of God, not the teachings on how to interact with others, which in Christianity are peaceful: turn the other cheek, love your enemies, pray for those who persecute you (unlike in Islam). As for Sri Lanka, these, as you can see, are Sri Lankans trying to practice Christianity. I think freedom of religion and freedom to share one's beliefs with others is unconditionally necessary. Peace.

  • @rweerakkody4565 Note I am a Buddhist.

  • @bornbranded29 I know it well. I attended a Catholic school. Both for primary and high school. I attended its masses on many occasions. Im a fan of PJP2. Im a fan of the Vatican. And I clearly know what in the world is a Trinity. And there is more to that. I want Catholicism to outwit all other sects here in the Philippines but I dont want it to outwit Buddhism in Sri Lanka. Enough is enough. And for your info I am half Filipino, half Sinhala. Goodnight

  • @rweerakkody4565 You don't know a thing about the beauty of Christianity, if you think it's Islam.

  • @superzfighter Think about this: Jesus was a great teacher but many "Christians" dont seem to act his way. Mohammed was some teacher but many "Muslims" dont act his way. The Buddha was a great teacher but many "Buddhists" are namesake and dont even know or follow Dharmma. :) Religion doesnt necessarily reflect one's attitude because you dont know if that person takes his faith to heart or doesnt.

  • I cant believe Buddhism has become nothing more than crap like Catholicism and Islam. Its now a RELIGION when in fact it shouldn't be.
