very awesome game i love it

@ELsclay Yes actually, when guybrush says he is taking notes, he really does. If you look at an old piece of paper on his inventory, the lyrics are writen down there, and they are instructions to get past Le Cuck's fortress corridors.

Fun trivia I just discoverd:
Dem Bones, is a well-known song, to teach basic anatomy to children, though its not anatomically correct. The melody is from James Weldon Johnson 1871–1938. The lyrics are based on Ezekiel 37:1-14, where the prophet visits the Valley of Dry Bones and prophesies that they will become alive by God's command.

Have to agree with genericusername337...

Was there a point to that dance?

it's almost twenty years since the game got released and we still have absolutely no clue as to what either this dream or the whole Dinky Island tunnels scenario was actually about.
there are a bunch of interpretations but only a few points were actually taken care of through retcons in the sequel....
XD the look on his face when they turn into skeletons and start dancing

Weird scene, indeed. It took me a while to realize that this song would actually be used in LeChuck's hideout, at first I just wandered around the place until I figured out the connection between the songs and the skeletons.
Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2 are probably the best games ever, no doubt about that.
