Brilliant AMV, I love Genesis, he's my favourite Final Fantasy character and he's probably my favourite character of all time, along with Revan from Star Wars and Tapion from Dragonball Z.

aren't we all? everyone dies eventually, so might as well enjoy life as it is rather than worrying over reality... and also, that wasn't that far into his character, there's much more on Gen and Gackt than that

Read that far into characters? Only if it was like Cloud or Squall or something. Other than that, I'm trying to get rid of the ignorance of what's happening in REALITY. And the reality is, we're screwed.

He's the main antagonist of Crisis Core, and he's based on an actual person called Gackt. Both of them are amazing, so learn who a character is before hating them.
