  • Love them. No problems. If I were to purchase again I'd get 5000k temperature though instead of 6000k. They are too blue.

  • @austin881, Projectors aren't just for ricers. They're for people who don't want to blind everyone else on the road with their aftermarket HID kit running in reflector housings that aren't made for that amount of light output. I own a 2003 silverado, and with the standard housings, people would flash brights constantly. Now that I have projectors, all is well. Just FYI

  • @klipse77 I respectfully disagree. I'm running HID low beams that have been properly adjusted and pointed down slightly so they do not blind oncoming traffic. Everyone needs to do the same before they drive at night with HIDs. You don't need projectors to have HIDs. I stand by my original statement: Projectors are for ricers.

  • What all comes with the conversion kit and do you need a certain relay or the lights?

  • @adamdta1990, no relay needed. Go to SilveradoSierra com to see photos of what comes in the kit.

  • get projectors

  • Projectors are for ricers Mr. Stempniak

  • @1nickadair I used Morimoto Mini retrofit kits, mounted in stock housings...they give a really clean cutoff, with a really effective beam pattern. -klipse77

  • @klipse77 What brand of projectors did you get? Any complaints? I've heard some are really low quality, fit improper, water leaks in, etc. Anything like that? Thanks.

  • i am looking to get a set of hid how do like them and have u had any proablems with them?

  • I CAN understand your statement, but I've found that if the beam angle is lowered, you actually lose the benefit of running HID's in the first place - better light output. With proper projector housings, the light can travel further, as the top half of the projection beam is cut off, thereby not blinding oncoming traffic. If you're just looking for the "HID look", I would say that's more ricer-like than running proper projectors. Not that I'm saying that's your intention - I don't know you.
