  • @tsunaamii I can't agree more! =)

  • I've worn mocap suits with markers like these, and, while lying on the ground while wearing them may not be very comfortable, it sure as hell doesn't hurt either. If it doesn't hurt a person, it shouldn't hurt a horse. Since they are much tougher creatures then we are. Also, the markers probably just dug into the sand anyway, so people shouldn't worry about the horse too much. :)

  • @Westerngirl96 why?

  • poor horse

  • @TheWorldofjake no, I'm calling you stupid for thinking something that is obviously not cruelty, to be cruelty. I don't sugar coat things, if someone makes a stupid comment, I will call them out on it and make it known to them that what they said makes them appear stupid. I do it online, and in person. No matter who they are, man, woman, or child, black, white, hispanic, native, asian, Christian, Buddhist, whatever. Just don't say stupid things and we'll be cool.

  • @tsunaamii You are calling me stupid because I shared my opinion? "In other words... you're stupid :D" could have been left out as it is unnecessary and quite rude.

  • @TheWorldofjake if that's cruelty to you, I'd hate to see what actual cruelty looks like to you.

In other words... you're stupid :D

  • Seems happy enough to me, they are getting exercise and not being sold for glue or horse meat! Heheh! And as I see it, the capture points only dig into the ground, and electrical tape pretty easily peals off. I see no problems here! Pretty cool project, I was just wondering to myself how the total war games were motion captured and found this, very nice work!

  • You taped the markers to the horses fur? Cruel.

  • Cool project - was there a reason why you chose those specific points for motion capture, rather than other skeletal markers (base of the neck for example) ?
