We checked out the Old Hotel Site on Bluff Mountain Rd in Sevierville,TN. There are reported sightings of apparitions, hearing voices and being overcome by a feeling of dread. The Old Hotel was popular in the 1920's. But there is only a vacant site there now, Somewhere a few hundred feet off of the trail is an old cemetery dating back to the 1800's or earlier. The bluffs were used in the 1790's by continental soldiers to watch for the Indians approaching along the trade route. There was a small post there and it is said many were slaughtered in their sleep. This is a beautiful place as you will see one magnificent bluff where you can overlook many counties. We didn't experience any of the phenomena reported by others, except maybe dread - as the road up there is very winding and steep. Very much worth the trip. Be sure to check out our website http://www.paranormalspectrum.com as we research alleged hauntings in Southeast US, specifically Tennessee. Follow my blog http://www.instantescape.wordpress.com
