This game seems like it's more based around Arabic culture. The music and the look of the hero and Mildrath. Does anyone know if each game represents a different culture or not?

Actually, that's pretty much Akira Toriyama's signature style of art, whether it's Dragon Ball, Dragon Quest, Chrono Trigger, etc.

In most of the anime and games that Toriyama designs, the clothing he uses for the characters are taken from various different Asian cultures, including Japanese, Chinese, Arabic and Indian clothing, all merged together into a kind of pan-Asian clothing style.

@Kaediths Mortamer's face in his final form looks like that of a Chinese dragon, if that's anything. I was still laughing at how his first form looked like master Roshi and how his second form is all big and buff...but is pink.

Nimzo at least had a threatening blood-red color to him.

Hm, well, the eighth game had this one part with this snowy village that totally seemed Russian, and then there's this guy called Morrie that seems Spaniard, and there's also Valentina and Kalderasha in the beginning that have some kind of accent, so that's one other game at least.

@Hyperultragamegamega I never thought of that, in fact Psaro and Estark do look alot like some Hindu gods I did a project on once. And the hero's helmet thing looks almost exactly like the headress of an Indian prince! that's crazy. Although I'm not sure what the hell Mortamer from DQ VI looks like though.
