does anyone know what is currently going on with brookfield zoo no.1 granny? i know that it's there but other than that i have no clue

maybe, i know they had the 2-4-2 from brookfield zoo working, but i don't know if they will run it because it can only pull one car (bearly)

yes and no, they only run the shay on "major" weekends (labor day etc.) the O&K locomotive is down for Maintenance for now.
I loved this museum! I would strongly advise anyone to visit it. Thanks for posting this vid!

Neat! Last service number for this loco was DR 99 3361, sometime before the MPSB was abandoned in 1969.
On my desk is a photo of this very loco while still in the DDR on the cover of the Eisenbahn Kurier book "Auf schmaler Spur nach Norden".

Nice video, beautiful engine. The right spelling of the engine builders name is Orenstein & Koppel.
