  • does anyone know what is currently going on with brookfield zoo no.1 granny? i know that it's there but other than that i have no clue

  • maybe, i know they had the 2-4-2 from brookfield zoo working, but i don't know if they will run it because it can only pull one car (bearly)

  • yes and no, they only run the shay on "major" weekends (labor day etc.) the O&K locomotive is down for Maintenance for now.

  • I loved this museum! I would strongly advise anyone to visit it. Thanks for posting this vid!

  • cool if i give you me email can you send me a copy of that pic. i was volunteer at hesston for a while

  • Neat! Last service number for this loco was DR 99 3361, sometime before the MPSB was abandoned in 1969.

On my desk is a photo of this very loco while still in the DDR on the cover of the Eisenbahn Kurier book "Auf schmaler Spur nach Norden".

    Small world!!

  • Nice video, beautiful engine. The right spelling of the engine builders name is Orenstein & Koppel.
