MCHS Solla Sollew

Here's Solla Sollew, one of my favorite songs in the musical. I just had to upload it. Here is Blake Davy as Horton, Melanie Sallee as Jojo, Kelsey Geiger as Mrs. Mayor, and Ryan Wendling as Mr. Mayor.



Here's the Monday night parents only dress rehearsal, when the only recording of the musical was aloud. (Which will explain the pitiful applause and the barely audible laughter...at least we made up for it on the show nights!) I present to you the MCHS Spring Musical which people have considered "a breath of fresh air" and "the best high school musical [they] have ever seen." I present you with Sessical the Musical!

This guy has potential, but needs to work on breath control/overall support. That way, he'll be able to separate accidental [nervous] vibrato and intentional vibrato, which will lead to tone improvement and proper placement.

My school is performing Seussical next month, I'm Horton. And from one elephant to another, good job = ) A little shakey at the beginning though, I'm guessing from nerves (understandable)

I can't wait to do this, this song is amazing.

I would disagree; the part is not melodramatic--it is heartfelt. If you were there, it was incredibly moving. Made me cry, Blake. I saw another version where Horton was clowning around and the show did not have an impact on me at all, whereas this one was breathtaking. "jameala," I agree with you! Blake, you will do amazing things. Keep singing and don't forget about the times I begged you to sing to me!

Blake is probably cooler than pretty much anyone who has ever lived.. ever. And he was def. NOT nervous. That's just really good singing. He's in college for that kind of stuff now, and he WILL be big some day. And you will all watch him become famous, and want to get his autograph. Hmph.

i just did this play and our guy is in 8th grade and sounds way better he will become famouse on day hes better than that guy.
