This song affects me so much more now than it did when I heard it as a kid. ;^^ I have two cats, one of whom was left in the petshop for several weeks due to not being as cute and young as the other kittens who came and went (also, her tail had been broken, and its appearance can't have helped much in making others want to buy her). I'm just so unbelievably relieved that both she and my other cat are with me now, and not abandoned as Rita is here! ;^^
