@JeroenZM Naw. Sonic 4 is only half (or maybe one third) of a game and despite heavier physics is not that bad. Also, Sonic Colors and Generations (and their alternate versions) are pretty good. I am a Mario fan since day one, (23, have grown with all Mario games) but people are MUCH more tolerant on Mario, usually overlooking things like massive level recycling in the NSMB games or glue-walls in MKWii, while Sonic gets flamed for anything short of changing the titular character´s eye color.

@SuperNintendoGameboy That's a great idea! It would be pretty funny if they switched up the voice acting like Sonic is reduced to a silent protagonist and Mario will have complete dialogue and full sentences.

@dragonball4ever2009 IF that did happen, it'd be so Mario Blue was developed by Nintendo and Sonic Red was developed by Sega and both those games would have their own ways of presenting dialogue. Mario Blue could be pretty much like in the Mario Galaxy games where there's little talking and mostly text while Sonic Red would have full voice acting complete with the witty writing from Colors (Mario wouldn't really talk in Sonic Blue, he'd just say a few grunts)
