yes thats the 1 you need i just bought it today and its really easy to install and push . . . took me like 5 minutes to do it. . . .and radioshack does ship

mines not a soft touch, it kinda hurts my arm to hit it really fast for a long time

Mines kind of hard to get really fast as well, I do think there are easier to press buttons around, but I didn't really "test" any out before I bought one.

ive got a killswitch but its really hard to press i cant just tap it i have to use my thumb to get it really fast

I've got a question about learning the song... did you learn it by plucking the strings first? or just jump straight into the hammer-ons and pull-offs?
I'm guessing the kill switch is the last thing you add in once you've got the notes down

I don't remember how I learned it first... but plucking it at first to get the beat down would work, then go straight from there to the hammer-ons and pull-offs, since thats what the entire song is. Don't get too comfortable with the plucking ;)
