She was translating his statements regarding the Mayan beliefs, and these don't include the end of the world in 2012. There's no royalty, nor nobility in Mexico. Don't know WTF you're talking about. What was he promoting, the Council of Mayan Elders? He basically stated has been stated many times by different authorities on the subject. The message is the same: Not the End of the World!

@kellyG2468 Agreed but what can we do? Even if I walked to work, grew my own food, and befriended racoons at night with carrots (which I do) would it really help? I don't know why ignorance gained superiority in the world. Dwelling on the beautiful is what consoles me.

@2Brego32 the original mayan langage is dead thanks to the spanish burnin of most of their texts and using stone carvings as anchor weights. It is now a mix of spanish and mayan.
