The Marriage of Figaro: Opening Scene

Recording of OpShop's Spring 2008 recital. Ok, so this isn't really a video, but its the only way I could cheat and have some audio of the performance.

Here are some translations until I can get the version with subtitles up and running:

*No. 1: Duet*
FIGARO: Five...ten...twenty...thirty...thirty-six...forty -three.
SUSANNA: Yes, now I'm happy: this hat looks like it was made just for me!
(Figaro continues counting)
Look here, my darling Figaro. Look at my hat!
FIGARO: Yes, my dear, it's very pretty...it looks like it was made just for you.
BOTH: Ah, our wedding day is so close. How sweet it is to your tender spouse, this little hat that Susanna made herself.

*Recitative*
SUSANNA: What are you measuring, my dear little Figaro?
FIGARO: I'm looking to see if this bed - the one that the Count gave us - will fit in this room.
SUSANNA: In *this* room?
FIGARO: Certainly: the Count generously gave it to us.
SUSANNA: I have reasons to dislike it.

SUSANNA: Because I'm Susanna, and you're dumb.
