@BeamSurfer: Make that Jewish/Christian/Muslim belief. But no, Hindus wouldn't believe in this story. They might be somewhat familiar with it though. I wonder if the fairies ended up here because someone didn't really know the story, because there are no fairies in the orginal Biblical story. Then again, not everyboody in India are a Hindu.
