All personal problems are self-made. Hence they can be self-unmade.

Problems and goals are interconnected. If the goal changes, so does the problem. If you transform your goal, you transform your problem.

To change your goals, you need to make a new experience which changes your attitude, your belief.
When your belief changes, your emotions changes.
When your emotions changes, your behaviour changes. If your behaviour changes you get different results.
With different results you will have different experience.
These experiences affirm your belief.

And round it goes.

The "experience" I am talking about is insight into life. For example that there is nobody to blame for our suffering. It is nobodys fault since all things are interconnected and hence everything contributes something. There is no single, first cause. The problem hence is not "out there" but "in there". And with the right goal, it cannot even be labelled as "problem" but e.g. as a opportunity to learn, to become a better person to be able to help others in a more skillful way.

Start from within. How about trying meditation?
