  • Not too fast. Sung in the style which Weill intended. Listen to Lotte Lenya. This version feels more authentic to me that the limp-wristed, too-slow renditions which capture none of the intensity or pining of this version.

  • wow... amazingingly beautiful .. thank you for posting this video for us to enjoy over and over

Nonsense, I'm afraid...the tempo and the voice are perfection. As Weill intended

  • She is too young to understand this song.

  • Good to hear a woman's version; hey, the feelings long remain.

  • Beautiful buoyant voice, the song becomes to heavy when sung too slow.

  • @hajune

actually, the speed she sang it is the speed that the composer, Kurt Weill, intended. His wife, Lotte Lenya, always sang it at this speed.

  • A beautiful voice. She rushed thru it though. This song needs to be massaged and stirred slowly. Somebody should produced this who knew what they were doing. Still in all I'd love to hear her sing the classics. Go to John Gary to see a master at work.

  • @NonInflatable yep, I agree! December before you know it

  • Too fast, by a long way.
