The Israeli Arab conflict is the result of interactions of superpowers in the early 20th century. British and French strategic interests in the Middle East were related to the Mediterranean trading route, which went from the Suez channel to Indian markets. But the presence of the Ottoman navy based in the Levant was a direct threat to British interests. So the British and the French decided to divide the Middle East into smaller entities and countries to make it impossible for the Ottoman Empire to control them all. A century later, the legacy of European colonization of the Arab world is reflected by its many ongoing conflicts.

  • Good Video.

  • This was very informative and interesting.

    1. Israel is not only populated by Jews who came from Europe, but also by Jews who came from Islamic nations. 50% of Israelis are "Mizrahi" Jews -Jews from Middle Eastern / Muslim countries

    2. Israel is the only country in the Middle East (together with Iran) that is still populated by its original inhabitants (Jews), who speak in the same original language (Hebrew) and worship the same original religion (Judaism) that was used in ancient times

    3. Israel will never "stop existing"

  • 2 convienent omissions -

#1 - Suez canal has been under Egyptian control, nothing to do with the Jews

#2 - Britan and France took control of the regions because of War the Ottomans allied with Germany and lost ww1. Remember the Ottoman empire descended from the caliphs who were attacking European countries from about 800 AD onwards. That coupled with the desire to restore a Jewish state in their ancestral homes were the motivations for the divisions.

  • British empire fucked up everything.

  • fuck

  • @Barmorris You misunderstand my comment. I suggest muslims most often are the least objective. Read Churchill for a detailing of efforts to divide and neutralize muslims, as should be done. The alternative would be the wholesale destruction of muslim societies and populations, begining with the obliterations and irradiation of mecca and medina. Although it is starting to look like that cannot be avoided as islam proves and existential threat to non-muslim civilizations.

  • @Cudoine So only Muslime pepole can be objective?

also why sholud he mention a that the west tryied to balkanize the muslim world?

Look at Syria and Lebanon, Look at the oprest suni in Iran, look at the Kurds, does the west need to balkanize the muslim world? I belive that west is trying very hard to AVOID a balkanize the muslim world! it is not relvant to this Clip.

However I will accespt that no one can be objective. including you and me :)

  • @Barmorris Is Caspian muslim or of a muslim background? If so he carries assumptions and perspectives that would cripple any nuetrality or objectivity he would presume. As example he missed an entire component of Western efforts to balkanize the muslim world.

  • @AssyrianKingz13

FREE BALUKANN! (a name I just made for the Jewish people of Saudi Arabia)
